Power Ministry sources said that this step will also help in reducing carbon footprints of thermal power generation.
Kentucky State Police Investigates Shooting in Owensboro
OWENSBORO, Ky. (May 24, 2021) – Kentucky State Police and Owensboro Police Department are investigating a shooting involving law enforcement at the Wingfield Inn, 3220 W. Parrish Avenue, Owensboro. Authorities, acting on a crime tip, located a stolen vehicle in the parking lot of the hotel just after noon.
Officers made contact with Sandy “Slim” Thompson, 41 of Owensboro at a room on the second floor of the hotel. Thompson brandished a pistol and pointed it at officers who were in the hallway. One officer discharged his service weapon towards Thompson who was not struck.
Thompson fled from authorities by jumping out of the second floor window and ran east on Parrish Avenue towards the Airport/Bittel Road area.
